How to get more options for your knees with Cementless –
Introducing the OsseoTi ® Cementless Tibia for the Persona® Total Knee System
                                         Presented By Zimmer Biomet

Description:

The Persona OsseoTi Keel Tibia is the latest cementless total knee replacement (TKA) within our clinically proven Persona Knee System. The Persona OsseoTi Keel Tibia provides:

  • Stable1*: Stable initial and biological fixation with OsseoTi porous keel design
  • Versatile: Versatile system allows for selection between cementless and cemented procedures up until final implantation
  • Anatomic: Anatomic tibia for proper rotation and optimal bone coverage from the clinically proven Persona Knee System 2,3.

This interactive educational session will be moderated by Adolph V. Lombardi, Jr. M.D., FACS, who has extensive experience treating complex primary and revision knee arthroplasty cases and Julius Oni M.D., who is the Medical Director of Orthopaedics at Johns Hopkins Bayview and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

This session will feature interactive discussions and case studies utilizing the Persona OsseoTi Keel Tibia now available in the Persona Knee System. The faculty will discuss the design rationale from a developer’s perspective and first case experience implanting from an early evaluator. This interactive session will allow questions from the audience throughout the program.

ERAS 2.0 – The Next Generation of Perioperative Care

Presented by Mend

Description:  The Upgrade Digital program by Mend is a next-generation ERAS approach that utilizes personalized precision care pathways pre and post operatively to coach and monitor the patient through best-in-class evidence-based protocols. The program encompasses a triple aim approach of acting as an extension of your practice to improve patient outcomes and drive an additional revenue stream.

Enhanced recovery protocols, commonly called ERAS, have shown reduction in length of stay, reduction in complication rates, decrease in opioid usage and improved outcomes (e.g. return to function).

Preoperatively the program uses a multidimensional preparedness approach, optimizing nutrition, reducing modifiable risk factors, and capturing PROMs. Post operatively the program executes multidimensional monitoring and coaching to achieve best possible post surgical quality of life: surveillance for medical or surgical complications, benchmarking for key functional outcomes, pain management and opioid sparing protocols, foundational improvements in nutrition status and nutrition behaviors and patient-reported outcome measures.    Presented by Eziah Syed, MBA, CEO Mend.
